hi, my name is frederike
I'm a student for interior architecture and design at «Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle»
Ever since I was little, I knew that I wanted to do something creative in my life later on.
My path to interior design was shaped by many other career aspirations and interests, but they never gave me the feeling of belonging. The desire to design spaces and to rethink my surroundings in a creative way was something I had from a very early age. As a result, my children's room was constantly rearranged and redecorated. After graduating from high school, I initially sought fulfillment of my creative nature within several internships in film and theatre. But it was when I first conceptualised the exact furnishings of a flat that I realised what my true passion is: designing spaces for real people and using their impactful atmospheres to influence the well-being and lives of everyone.
I was able to deepen this great interest during a four-month internship in an interior architecture office and when I was then offered the opportunity to continue working there as a temp, my decision was made: I wanted to study interior architecture to combine my passion with my future profession!
Having started in October 2019, I am now studying interior architecture and design at «Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design» in Halle. Since then, I have been exploring the various fields of interior architecture, and I am slowly developing my own focus and my own style. However, it is not only the diversity of interior architecture that fascinates me, but also the possibility of being able to integrate many other working areas (such as graphic design, typography, illustration, art direction, scenography...) into the work process and thus live out my other interests as well.
I'm looking forward to all the exciting tasks and projects which await me in my life! This being said, let's be creative - together!
